Caracal Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 Hello I have received this information from other collectors but would like more comments on the difference between a Jakushi Tsuba and a Ko Nara Tsuba, they look quite similar. "Thanks for the information. At first I thought it looked like a Ko Nara Tsuba. But it seems to be a Jakushi Tsuba according to the style and work of Nanga painting, or Bunjin-ga, which was inspired by Chinese literary painting. 1 Quote
Spartancrest Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 I think it is Jakushi - mainly from the scene but Jakushi also have nunome or very fine gold "wash" which doesn't seem evident. 1 Quote
Spartancrest Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 What is it with these two guys going over the bridge? https://www.jauce.com/auction/p1205198985 1 Quote
Curran Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 Not Ko-Nara. While there was a range on Ko-Nara designs, this is fairly far from from the Ko-Nara examples that I know. Quote
