This i expect will be more of where can i find it rather than someone having what i want.

Looking for Sageo, matching for katana and wak. The tsuka are brown so will need something decent to match.

Looking for two thick seppa. If anyone knows where these can be found?, antique or modern copper. I remember a place years ago that sold them without the ana cut, DIY job which may work out better for fit anyways.

Checked UK and nothing jumping out at me, so to speak. There was a good dealer many years ago but now he has gone

Thanks Thomas. There was once a shop like that in the UK ran by a guy called Kevin, think he was a member here.

Miss it, was very handy for stuff like this.

HI Alex,

Would it be Kevin at Ryujin swords? He used to have all these parts which he sourced in Japan.

Can recommend Namikawa, I made an order on the Monday and the goods arrived on my doorstep on Thursday

All the best

Yes, that's him Mark.

He used to sell swords and offer services like organising swords for Shinsa,

Not heard of him in years or what he's up to. I did like his store.

Hi Mike, i bought a koshirae online, not exepensive but it kind of matches to one i have so have a Daisho display.

The only trouble is the tsuba isnt a good match and it rattles a bit.

Ideally, reckon i need a tsuba 6.5 mm or two really thick seppa.

Actually considering making my own seppa, doesnt look too difficult.

Hi Alex,

Ford had a video of seppa making among his many videos.

Dear Alex.

Just to complete the tale Kevin who used to run Ryujin Swords stepped back from the business a year or two back.  It was a shame as his website was very useful.

All the best.

Cheers Geraint, did come in handy.

On a side note, ended up buying one of those cheap wooden sword stands from 9 circles, £43, didn't want to spend much so does the trick.

Black Painted hardwood, glued it together yesterday, more than adequate for anyone wanting a cheap stand

Truly recommend and very valid recommendation - thank you Thomas. Just received 2 sets of katana seppa in best quality (JPY 5800) from Japan ; one set in gold and one set in silver black. Perfect quality. Fast, safe and professional service and shipment.
