Thank you Uwe and Volker. The sword is a Yasukunito by Yasuhiro. With the date of July 1937 it leads me to believe that this might be one of the last swords Yasuhiro produced before leaving the shrine.

The book An Oshigata Book of Modern Japanese Swordsmiths: 1868 – 1945 shows examples of oshigata for Yasuhiro for 1936 & 1937 of Yasukuni shrine swords.
