sorry for just one pic but the internet was playing up here....anyway i hope this looks ok.

seki stamped katana by kanetoshi (kanemune)...this is hand made with ko-itame hada and hakikki boshi....the hamon is suguhu.

will post more pics when the internet stops playing up

Thank you, Steve! That hot stamp has been seen only on two of his blades now and on a blade by Tadahiro.  Thought to be a sanko-tsuka-ken or sanko-zuka-ken, a sword to chase away the Devil.

years ago I showed the blade to a dealer / collector here in the uk but he didn’t know what the hot stamp symbolized only that it was Buddhist which I already knew , he did say the sword was very unusual and unique being a hand made , seki stamped with religious meanings attached to it .

I am very grateful for your reply and already read the post about tadahiro blade .

I will have to research further .
