Sorry about not having pictures on here. I can't figure out how to change the pixels, for some reason the pictures are to big. I have a couple great pictures of the tang. If tou send me your email i can send you the pictures through my yahoo email account. I have found some close matchs with the Richard Stein page but I really have no idea what the symbols mean. Some are close but not exactly the same. Brian I emailed the pics to you, not sure if you received them. Steve Barrow thank you for repling and i hope you receive the pics ok..

Its a good chance it was a family blade taken to war, and yes most likly in other mounts at one time.
