Matsunoki Posted October 25, 2023 Report Posted October 25, 2023 Hello from the UK posting just for interest although any observations always welcome. A quite nice Hamano (?) school wakizashi tsuba in dark shibuichi with the usual mixed metal inlays depicting Kanzan and Jittoku having laid down their bundle of firewood under a pine tree to examine a scroll…..doubtless one of Kanzan’s poems. This pair have very deep significance within Zen Buddhism. Acquired a while ago as part of a hugely enjoyable multiple swap type deal…..always great fun. All the best. Thanks for looking. Spartancrest Posted October 25, 2023 Report Posted October 25, 2023 What significance did Princess Leia have in Japanese folklore? George Lucas never had an original thought in his life! 4 Quote
