Koltira Posted September 6, 2023 Report Posted September 6, 2023 Hello! Got my hands on this blade recently and would like to have some opinions from fellow forum members! Signature might translate as Tsuda Echizen no kami Sukehiro Nagasa is 64.5 cm (~25.4 inches) To me the activity looks a bit odd, yet really appealing to my taste. Though I am not an expert by any means What do you guys think? Do you think it is authentic? Any reply is welcome! More photos here: https://drive.google...NbdZl9W3?usp=sharing 1 Quote
French nihonto Posted September 6, 2023 Report Posted September 6, 2023 Acid polishing... sorry. A pretty blade at the base, which is wasted Cordialy Max 1 Quote
vajo Posted September 6, 2023 Report Posted September 6, 2023 Genuine Japanese Katana. Someone treat it badley with acid. The hamon is seen very weak. Gimei signature. Looks shin-shinto. 1 Quote
DoTanuki yokai Posted September 7, 2023 Report Posted September 7, 2023 I think it does not look like an Acid polish simply a regular bad amateur polish without acid. Acid would make the Hamon much more visible in my opinion. 1 1 Quote
