Nothing to see anyway.

You really  don't see much....just table's being set up.

Kinda sad had hoped better from you Brian.....guess to much going on for you.

Agreed, Brian's video was a bit lacking for many of us craving additional footage. Yet, I'm sure things were traveling at light speed for Brian waiting for years to attend the show. However, it would be nice in the future, for someone skilled in videography to produce a longer video high lighting the show more extensively. Showing more tables and items for sale, introducing vendors and attendees, possibly displaying some of the most interesting items available...

I wouldn't be dissapointed with the lack there of photos and information.  These "sword shows" are not only obsecure, but not really promoted outside it's own very small demographics.  Unlike a gun show you really don't want to be around anyone who isn't proficient in handling a 2ft razor blade. In Japan they have PVC posts to prevent side-to-side movement and saftey.

I get your concern Pat! I'm not suggesting a major production meant for the general public, simply a bit more of a show and tell for those members who are unable to attend. I've attended several sword shows and found dealers where extremely cautious whom they allowed to handle their swords...

Yet I've also seen an accident or two at shows, even with the experienced!

Hectic indeed. In fact at least a dozen times I tried to leave my stand and explore the show, only to make it halfway every time before I had to head back.
Next time I promise to do interviews, pics, videos, commentary, introductions.

I think Dr. Robertson took a couple of my suggestions way back and gave a Nihonto 101 class. Don't know why but It died on the Vine as we say.

Another was for table holders to post an inventory before so people knew who you were and what you had making thinks a lot easier.

Allways making sure the Mekugi wasn't left out, or is in all the way is a smart inspection before handling EVERY sword.

Oh, I seen what damage a polished sword will do.
