Seller is known to sell fake items. They had a Tachi listed a while back that they dated to be 1800s(by them) I think it was an early model Hanwei.  I told them about it, can't remember their reply but left it up with the same description. Sold for almost $2k.

 

Fools in their money will soon be departed.

As far as I'm aware they're just consignment items. And they probably have an "expert" that tells them what they think they are. 

 

As far as I'm aware there isn't a list. I think there should be though. Pretty much anyone that sells swords of any kind as a business on eBay I would be leary of. Definitely be on HIGH ALERT and study the pictures carefully.

Hi Noah,

Actually, I think a list of sellers of fakes on ebay would be counterproductive. As soon as you think you're safe because you're dealing with a seller who isn't on the list, you are vulnerable. There is no substitute for serious study; knowledge is your only hope.
