Five Nice Iron Tsuba for Sale

Hello all,

I am letting a few tsuba go from the collection. Two very nice Muromachi examples. Priced + shipping and PayPal fees. 

 

1. Kyo Sukashi - Yatsuhashi motif Late Muromachi custom fitted box w/pillow, write up from Robert Benson. 75,4 mm h x 75,2 mm w x 5,0 mm thk - $900.

2. Kanayama - Late Muromachi great iron with tremendous linear bones in mimi, box w/pillow 68,6 mm h x 65,6 mm w x 6,0 mm thk -                         $900. 

3. Kyo Shoami - Hatzuki motif Edo (ref Kokusai Tosogu Kai 14th convention cat. pp. 47) w/box 82.6 mm h x 81.9 mm w x 4,6 mm thk -                        $500.

4. Akasaka (?) - Suzumushi motif late Edo (ref. Nihonto Koza vol VI pp 189 Tadamasa) w/box 75,4 mm h x 73.7 mm w x 5.5 mm thk -                           $350.   

5. Aizu (?) Shoami - Rakugen and nets motif - nice iron and hammer work - bright plate 82,3 mm h x 76,1 mm w x 5,5 mm thk -                                    $150.

Hi again,

I've added a few more images of the group including Kanayama. The Kanayama isn't captured well in the picture here, but long linear bones swirl around the mimi.

I like the one with the bugs very much. Is it still available? How much would shipping to the Netherlands be? ( if it is).

Curran,

The Yatsuhashi looks similar to that in Sasano's silver book. The iron is much nicer than my android snapshot.
