Not sure about the last character, maybe it was meant to be 存, but looks more like 好 or 仔 to me. 勝壽作之 = Katsutoshi made this 明治紀元戊辰大寒 = Meiji era, year of the Earth Dragon, Daikan (i.e., late January/early February 1869 CE) Edit: see below. SteveM Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 I thought it was 在庫中 myself, but without any confidence as to the meaning. I thought 庫 was more plausible than 陣 because of the horizontal line over 車. And the word 英雄 (a personal name? hero?) is confusing as well Quote
