Never mind Moss you can' have every thing,Brisbane eh, You have just missed the biggest event in sword collecting to happen in Oz the Sydney Shinza last month.

I would try your next Gun Show in Brissy and ask the dealers there who is around or move to Sydney

Thanks John and of course Alan,

I'll give Sydney life a miss, left there 18 yrs ago for sunny Queensland,Now if you had said Melbourne I may have moved.

I will check out the Japanese Sword Society.

Was hoping there may have been something similar up here.

The gun fair up here is up for a visit.

I think that group closed down the year I started collecting LOL. It's funny that the president listed here is Alan Morton, that same Alan from alansue who posted here in this thread.

But as Al said, there are just loose collectors all around the country. There are strong groups in Sydney and Melbourne, we have a good little collective here in Perth, and there are plenty of folk about the other states.

This is new to Sydney - http://www.sydneytokenkai.com/p7.htm

Hi Moss, I am the Alan Morton you have to contact for the JSSAust which is now no longer exist.

each large city has an active group and good friends are to be made. There was a meeting in town

last Saturday. If you ever get to Sydney you should let us know. I do find most of the drunks come from

WA and Melbourne

In a similar situation, I am looking for collector groups in the Melbourne area and would appreciate any information or contact details.
