to be honest,i don t know if this is the right topic to post here,but still, how do i put a kozuka in a saya? how does it work? (i havent made the saya yet, im building it soon

Hi Gopas, 

Did you mean kogatana? A kozuka is the decorative part - it’s the handle for a kogatana. The kozuka is normally kept in a separate box like a tsuba.

Sayashi.biz has a series of photos on how to make the kogatana slot. There are instructions and photos concerning basic saya construction in several of the Kapp and Yoshihara books as well.
