ChrisAWilson Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 Show my ignorance here but that's ok, its how I learn, I thought the difference was a 94 had double hangers on the saya, but have seen some offered for sale with single hangers, so what exactly differentiates the two? Thanks Chris Wilson Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 @PNSSHOGUN is the best guy for your answer. I can tell you the second haikan (hanger) was removable and a great many of them were removed and/or lost. John can fill you in on the other differences (or other guys that follow the fittings closely). 1 Quote
lonely panet Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 yes and no bruce, im have a nerd fit atm, there are alot of subtle differances. quality of the mounts, the mount of extra work and detail in the finish's, like the guilt, seppa quality, saya finishe will be glossy, the extra kick or sori to the koshirae at the tsuka will give the type 94 a more gracefull tachi shape 1 1 Quote
