Yes, I misspelled with h instead of k, said like  bak-fu. I couldn't tell if the last bit was 78 year old man or 70 year old man. You are probably right though, it is hachi not jin. John

I am not speaking Japanese, but trying to learn some. Is it not generally difficult for Japanese to differentiate between HU- and FU-, as their pronunciation is quite close or even the same? So I did not think that HU- was wrong, just written in ROMAJI the way they speak.
