Ishiguro, But That Price?

A nice piece but the price? 2M Yen for nothing special F/K with unusual motif from a great maker? 

 

Ishiguro ok, but do I overlook something? And what about the papers?

Masatsune was the founder of the Ishiguro ha so big name = big price.  His works are always expensive BUT I have serious reservations about the mei which I find has multiple issues.  This set would have to have Tokubetsu Hozon paper for that price.  I have doubts it would achieve shoshin but would be happy to be proven incorrect.

I think this piece is aesthetically excellent but without papers, or the guarantee of papering, the price is absurd.  Also, as lovely as it is, it is not the most desired subject matter.

I think it is priced as "let's have a look if some wealthy chinese guy jumps in", but that only if it has papers, without any... That's why I asked if I overlooked some source/literature etc.
