Tsuba Translation Help

[Yoshimichi]

Dear NMB Members:

 

I need some help translating the mei on this tsuba. I think the first character is "Sada."  Not sure of the second character or the school (Mito or Omori?). Any help is appreciated.

Hello Bill,

 

I looked at this earlier and it stumped me. I felt the first one resembled 次 (tsugu), but somehow neither 定 nor 次 were satisfying candidates for me.  The second one is beyond me. Almost 金 but not quite. Maybe Morita-san can help us out.

The second character  is Nao (直).

Sadanao 貞直
