Peter Bleed Posted November 16, 2018 Report Posted November 16, 2018 Friends, I have and wish to sell, . . A nice yatate with an interesting small kogatana included. I assume that ti is "premodern" but I find NO markings and I don't know the age of such things. It clearly appears to have been used since there is still ink in the bowl. It also has a solid ceramic ojime bead and a nice small shakudo(???) inro with fine karakuza engraving. The blade has which sure looks like a silver tsuka and a nicely formed small kogatana blade that is 7 cm long and rusty. It was, however, well formed with a classic shape and a beveled cutting edge. It is cleverly hidden in the shaft of the brush holder. The whole rig is about 14 cm long. It is a silver colored metal and I would not be surprised it is were indeed, "silver" but I make not I make no guarantees I would like $180, and we both tip the gypsy (if Brian will explain how we do that).
