Hmm..I wouldn't call that nondescript or negligible value. Can see it has nice lines, nice colour and nicely made.
If the Japanese aesthetic teaches us anything, it is not to underestimate what looks plain
I like it.

This is the simple you get from long practiced skillful hands and an astute eye.  Those that would deem this nondescript or of little value  miss the point.  Would look great mounted!
