Identification Of A Wakizashi

I've posted a few pics of the blade of my new wakizashi in the translation section but figured it would be best to move those questions to the appropriate part of the forum. I was going to have some dimensions ready for this post but will have to add them a little later on. The only thing that I was really unable to capture in pictures was the hamon, it is fairly faint at first glance but is present under close inspection. It had a fairly short wavy pattern that was fairly sporadic in the amplitude of the waves. Anyways here are a few pics to look at. If you need a specific picture of the blade to help in your determination let me know and I can get one.

Please don’t touch the sword with your bare skin as this can lead to additional rust and permanent “etched” finger prints.

Why did you buy this blade, other than it's obviously your first? There is considerable damage, including some major hakobore.

I wear latex gloves when I handle my blades, it's not obvious on first glance due to how tight that particular pair was.

 

Why did you buy this blade, other than it's obviously your first? There is considerable damage, including some major hakobore.

I got the blade in part of a larger deal, my collection mostly spans swords of European origins and I figured I might as well add something slightly different to it. The history that goes along with the blade is worthwhile to me.
