To me, it gives the impression of a mid to late Edo period mumei wakizashi styled like a naginata naoshi, shobu zukuri, ubu. I can't say much more, other than it appears authentic :)

It helps if you give the overall length & the length of the hacho (cutting edge). Wakizashi with a very odd boshi. Don't think I've seen an ubu wak with a tip quite like that.

Agree with ken. Yes no kaeri. Most likely reshaped naginata.. late muromachi-early edo.. maybe yamashiro? Hoso suguha.. Masame from what I can see.

To your attention, for understanding the full picture of the subject-I have dimensions:
Sori: 1.19 cm ..
Zen-cho - 53 cm.
Ha-cho - 41 cm ..
Width at the hamachi - 2.9 cm ..
Width at the Kissaki - 2.2 cm ..
Kasane : 0.61 cm ..
