got this papers shown today, my kanji is bad, but these two letters I know...

Could you give me some more information from the sheet?

 

Btw I think it is time donate something for all information I got here  :laughing:

This looks like a nice piece Marco. Was it sold as an authentic Masamune? You can see a lot of information here if you do a search for concerns about Tokubetsu Kicho, when it comes to big named swords.

Yes Ray, it was stated to be THE Masamune with an near awfully long description about masamune juttetsu etc...

I know the trouble of the green papers especially, will look the forum up a bit more.

Hello:

 It is interesting that the "Brown" Hawley lists 21 Masamune who are koto, some well rated, and even when signed it is ironic that most of them probably suffered distorted shinsa pass rates imposed on blades with their genuine mei. In the current case with the notation "den" and no narrowing gratis note, not so common in those days (1959), one would really have to be lucky to have hope transcend reality, but of course it could happen.
