rancho Posted May 27, 2017 Report Posted May 27, 2017 hi all i was on eBay to take a look on some gunto for sale and i saw this nagamitstu signed blade! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Y122-Japanese-WWll-Army-officers-sword-in-mountings-Gendaito-Nagamitsu-/352069208407?hash=item51f8f5c957:g:ivIAAOSw-K9ZJ4Io im not a true connoisseur in Nihonto or Gendaito but for me that blade look to be true Gendaito but im not sure this is a real nagamitsu blade! the mei look to be fresh made and on the mei side we dont see any rust and its look too clean ....on the other side its rusted... also this signature are quite rare for a Nagamitsu gendaito and aperently nagamitsu blade are rarely dated whats you think about that? regards Eric P.
