Kevin Adams Posted January 1, 2017 Report Posted January 1, 2017 Just listed a lovely little iron tsuba on my website, a late Edo period iron tsuba with delicately engraved bamboo and gilded leaf details. The piece is signed "Josen" (a student of Murakami Jochiku) and is papered to Hozon Tosogu by the NBTHK. 58mm x 67mm x 4mm $500USD plus shipping and Paypal fees, and ships from the UK. More photos on my website. Thanks for looking!
Brian Posted January 1, 2017 Report Posted January 1, 2017 Papered? That's a bargain....won't last long.
Marc BROQUIN Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 Hello all, First of all my best wishes for 2017 for all of you and families !!! I have a great doubt about this signature. I do not read Josen but JAKUSHI. Am I wrong or did I mistook the signature. In any case if JAKUSHI the design doesn't seem to be JAKUSHI. Best Marc
