Worth Restoring?

It's pretty far gone in my opinion, a relic almost, but what do you guys think? can it be saved?

 

A good friend helped with the translation.

 

"Kwansho ni nen hachi gatsu, nichi" (a day in 8th month, 2nd year of Kwansho)  August, 1461.

"Bizen kuni ju Osafune Morimitsu."

In my opinion there's a good chance that the boshi is gone. The hakobore is also severe. Based on the photos I would not consider this a good restoration candidate.

Yeah, Ben. That blade is really on its last legs for anything, except the fact that it's real & old.
