Salvatori Moretto Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Some very nice fittings I just acquired in trade by a customer (one I feel who is just about becoming a good friend) and I would love to get the mei translated. Very lovely iron tsuba and what seems to be a soft metal fuchi and kashira. Also any info on the school of the f/k would be helpful as well Thanks in advance for any and all help Gentleman!Sal' 1 Quote

John A Stuart Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Not sure of the reading of the fuchi. 奈長 永春 Daicho Eishin or Nagaharu. ?? John Quote
ROKUJURO Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 FUCHI seems to read NARA NAGAHARU (or perhaps KIYOHARU?). The set looks a little bit crude compared to good NARA work, I think. Quote

Salvatori Moretto Posted January 10, 2016 Author Report Posted January 10, 2016 Thanks guys! the f/k set look much better in person, my photo/camera skills seem to capture more flaws than really show they beauty and smoothness of the art that can be seen Sal' Quote
