Hello,

Thank you guys very much.

 

I was wondering is the date in the imperial year form?

 

The 1st characters were not showa so I was wondering how it was

read?

Yukimune (行宗), Shōwa (昭和, 1926-1989), Fukuoka – „Moritsugu Yukimune“ (守次行宗), civilian name „Moritsugu Tsunesaburō“ (守次恒三郎, his first name can also be read as „Kōzaburō“), born 1910, he studied under Sakurai Masatsugu (桜井正次), Masayuki (正幸) and Takahashi Sadatsugu (高橋貞次), during World War II he worked as rikugun-jumei-tōshō, he came from the line of Moritsugu Koretoshi (守次是利)

I have a Moritsugu Norisada, a lovely Gendaito. Nakago suffered some extensive rusting though, so it looks like a Koto. But I enjoy it, and has some hitatsura.
