Nickupero Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 Recently saw an Episode of "Pawn Stars" and I wanted to send my Congrats out to Mike Yamasaki for making his way onto this show. For those of you who don't know its a History Channel series that is extremely successful in North America (yes including Canada)! Was probably a repeat so maybe some old news for some. Mike you handled it like a Pro and represented the Nihonto community Honorably !!!! Quote
Brian Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 From what I am led to believe..he has been consulted a few times on that show in connection with swords. Brian Quote
CurtisR Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 I've seen him on the show a couple of times as well - very professional and knowledgeable; if you visit his website (Ricecracker.com) he has some great information there as well. Curtis R. Quote

CurtisR Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 Thanks Brian! I'm not sure why, but he did come up on "Ricecracker" a few months back. That's why I love this board - the "pro's knows!" Cheers, Curtis Quote
raiden Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 Thanks for the encouraging words! I hope that the show will help people respect and appreciate Japanese swords in a better way. I do things such as appraisal and research for ricecracker, but my website is tetsugendo.com. See you all at the show! Mike Quote
