  1. If the translation is correct? A Sukehiro dated 1941. http://www.japanesesword.com/Images/Swords/07/807/807kat11/807kat11.htm Regards Daniel
  2. Hi all I'm sure most of you guys here already read this page. But if you haven't, here it is. http://ohmura-study.net/952.html There is also another page which seems far more interesting but unfortunately it's in Japanese http://ohmura-study.net/286.html#2 Maybe one of our Japanese speaking members would be kind and translate the page for us? Kind Regards Daniel
  3. If interested here's the link to the original post. http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=824972 Would be interesting to see if people like George Trotter has something to add... Regards Daniel
  4. Hi All sounds very good but nothing compares to an oldfashioned real book. I hope you publish a book as I really looking forward to it. Have a nice weekend Daniel
  5. Hmm, sorry about the pics. Have a few beers and they should turn right
  6. Stunning and interesting blade Florian. If I only was a rich man or if I won the Lottery. If there just wasn't any ifs. Best wishes Daniel
  7. Too slow, Tobias beat me :-) Also, let me add the serial Numbers on the Habaki.
  8. Hi Wouter Yes, this is a fake and a really bad fake it is. Look at the pattern in the steel. The tsuka ito is wrong, the bad quality of the fittings. The wobbly lines on the blade so I would say everything is wrong with it. Regards Daniel
  9. Michael, good choice. Many nice blades from the Nihonto Tanren Denshujo. I have a sword by Akitaka(Nakabayashi Fukutarō) with beautiful Jigane and a lovely Hamon full of nie. I also got a sword by Akimoto Akitomo with a beautiful well packed even Ko itame. None for sale I'm afraid but good luck in your search for one. If you find one, please share some photos. Best Regards Daniel

    Over-Oiling?

Hi Axel I would say yes, the blade was a little over oiled. I guess the sender did it to protect the blade during transit so no worries. Hope you enjoy the blade. Best Regards Daniel
  15. Hi Brian No, I don't know the seller. Sorry if my wording got you confused. Just wanted Gustaf to know the sword is 100% fake. Regards Daniel

Hi This is a little embarrassing but I would be grateful if you could help me translate the date. All of my books are still in a box somewhere. I moved just before Christmas and the garage is... Regards Daniel
  19. I wouldn't mention Yasutoku in the same sentence as Nagamitsu or Emura. While a paper wouldn't add much or anything for myself I guess it wouldn't hurt if you're planning to sell. If not I can't see any reason for papering it. The sword is as you say what it is. :-) Nice find!!! Regards Daniel
