so 平三郎 - Heizaburo is a very good possibility. Having a look at the above link. That tsuba mei is pretty close to my one. I will need to do a deep dive into the books and see what I can find but at this point. Tsuba attributed to 平三郎 - Heizaburo

I have the same feelings about it. The more I look at it, the more the smallest little details and intricacies pop out at me.

Recently picked up this Tsuba attributed to the Jakushi school and trying to identify the mei. The right hand side matches to the typical Jakushi style form of Mei but I am struggling to identify the left hand side. I have done the usual search through my Joly book and through Markus's Meikan but no luck so far. Any help, thoughts, ideas would be greatly appreciated

Grev, i recently picked up this Chosu School tsuba. granted no where near the same intricate detail as your one but still interesting to see that another school thought this design was beautiful enough to reproduce. mei reads: Choshu Hagi Kuwaji Saku

Maybe someone can help me with the translation on this fuchi? I haven't been able to find anything so far with going through Mr Seskos mekan book and haven't found anything it Joly's. Hopefully one of you awesome members might be able to help?

any one have any clues on this mon? apart from the facing omodaka. i cant find anything in hawleys mon book.

Maybe someone here on the forum can help me with identifying this Kao mark or the maker on this particular Tsuba that I have recently added to my collection. YES its a little rough and it could do with being restored as the silver has some major wear to it is some places. The Tsuba looks like it was previously mounted at one point or another in its life. more so i am just curious to see what some of the members here say about its origins. The theme is of Uba and one of the Twin Pines but that is just my interpretation of it. Possible Kao Mark could be Kazunori (139 Joly's) but I have my doubts as I cant find any other Kao similar to or matching this one to verify it
