  1. Darcy, thanks for the info. It's ubu and signed shigetaka as I could find references for the yasutsugu school I couldn't find anything specifically about the shigetaka line. But Makes sense that they would as well. Thanks again!!

  13. Selling 3 swords.. All need polish in one degree or another. 1. Koto nijimei fuyuhiro, ubu nakago, uno-kubi-zukure sugata, maru-mune, 24" nagasa, bright gunome midare with lots of sunagashi. Shingunto koshirae with silver kamon on kabutogane, all fittings marked #1, saya has dent and is missing semigane and Ishizuki, 2500.00usd plus shipping 2. Late koto early shinto? 27.25" nagasa, osuriage mumei, shinogi-zukure, ishido'ish hamon , nice itame jigane, a few ware with one decent sized one on the ura, one side had a finish polish the other side did not. Koshirae is nice but needs repair, handachi style with iron parts has hosokawa mon... and vines in silver and gold, missing kurigata, date has loss and wood loss near koiguchi, matching iron koiguchi, fuchi and kashira are plain iron with board eye sukashi on the kashira, no Ito or menuki, Tsuba is plain iron and seems too thin and not original. 1400.00usd plus shipping 3. Rikugun jumei tosho katana signed teshushi akimitsu saku kore and star stamped dated 1943, 26" nagasa, soden bizen style hamon with lots of sunagashi and hataraki in the hamon, great boshi as well! Needs help, has a bend, hakobori, what look like kiri-Komi on the shinogi-ji (kids sword fighting?) type 3 koshirae custom leather wrapped saya not a cover, real sa-me, leather is drying at the seams needs attention, both mekugi are the original screws. 1100.00 plus shipping I will add pictures later just a few now from my pc at work pc, though it wont upload most of the files for some reason???...

  16. Im trying to find additional info on awa no kami fujiwara yasutsuna. I know he was an Ishido den smith and I think moved to Osaka later in life. Does anyone have any oshigata or any references for this smith? Thanks in advance!!
  17. I have a chance to purchase this tsuba with a tanto. Its obviously over cleaned, but I would like thoughts on the mei and if this looks like an edo utushi or older? I apologize as I only have this one picture of it. Thanks!!
