  3. Hello together, I always find it nice to see a face to the smith. I found a photo of Ishido Teruhide (Kikuchi Seiichi) - 石堂輝秀 (菊池清一) b.1900 - d.1982 I have a sword from him and hope to make others with it also a small joy. SOURCE: http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~ttoishi/sub18.htm https://www.kurashigetools.com/english/ Maybe there is interest to collect more photos from WWII smith's here.
  4. Thank you for the quick help. I will now try to find out which masakuni it is. I am grateful for any tip. :-)
  5. I mean June 1944 :-)

  9. I have here in my collection a single Menuki and Kashira. If I see this correctly, then this type of Koshirae is also in the book of R. Fuller and R. Gregory on page 42/43 to find.

  14. Hey, thanks a lot for the help Klaus and Steve. I really appreciate the accurate translation from you, Steve. Thank you. At this moment I am trying to find something about katsunori. But I can only find the Rikugun Jumei Tosho Tottori Katsunori. This is a Gunto with oil hardening and seki stamp. Does anyone of you have more information about this katsunori?

  17. This is the link.: https://www.ebay.com/itm/143800752367 The seller only wants to ship within the U.S. Maybe a member from the U.S. can buy it for me 🙂
  18. Hey Brandon, no, unfortunately I could not buy it, because the seller does not offer international shipping. He has promised to inform about a shipping to germany, but he has not contacted me anymore. What a pity. You can still find it on ebay.
  19. Hi Mal, I have also downloaded the file and think it is great. I like it very much. Thanks for your time and effort.
