Thank you, Steve.

Hello, out of interest I would like to know who signed this Kogatana. Thank you very much for the help.

I could only find this information about this smith: - He was Seki Gunto Tosho from Feb 9th 1942. Personal name is Takamichi? - Murayama Kunitsugu was born in 1892 and was listed as a "Rikugun Jumei Tosho swordsmith". Does anyone have any more?

Hi Geraint, the habaki is mounted on a wakizashi with very high quality koshirae. :-)
-
Yep, I tested it with a magnet and scratched it a bit from the inside with a nail to check the color of the material.

Hello, I wanted to show you my Habaki. I have never seen one before like this and the special thing is that the habaki is made of iron.
-
Sorry for the late thanks, John. I hope to find a comparable mei.

Right: Kato Masakuni/Sanekuni(真国) (real name Kato Matazo) in 1934 at Tokyo. Left: Maybe Kato Sukekuni(祐国). Big thanks to Kiyoshi Morita. -
Thank you for your quick help, Malcolm and Ray.

Perhaps someone here can help. I think Master Takahashi Yoshimune is sitting on the chair and behind him are his students: Imai Sadahige, Imai Hisatsugu, Minamoto Yoshihide and Toriō Hiromasa? But who is who? SOURCE: http://www.jp-sword.com/files/blade/yoshimune/yoshimune.htm -
Many thanks Malcolm, downloaded it directly and thanks Brian for the information that it is there. :-)

Thank you, Moriyma. I appreciate the accurate translation with the Japanese kanji.

Please be patient. Soon I can show it :-)

Unfortunately, someone else bought it. But I'm not sad, I was able to buy a nice other one for it. :-)
-
Unfortunately, I can't say. Sry.

I wish I could give you more pictures and information. But this gendaito unfortunately does not belong to me :-)

Thank you very much, Volker. That is very interesting.
