HIROSHIGE (広重), 1st gen., Kan´ei (寛永, 1624-1644), Musashi – “Bushū Shitahara-jū Hiroshige” (武州下原住 広重), “Bushū-jū Hiroshige” (武州住広重), “Sagami no Kami Fujiwara Hiroshige” (相模守藤原広重), “Bushū Hachiōji Tasai-gun Yokoyama no jūnin Seishū Kuwana ni oite Shitahara Hiroshige saku” (武州八王子多西郡 横山之住人於勢州桑名下原広重作, “made by Shitahara Hiroshige from Yokoyama in Hachiōji in the Tasai district of Musashi province in Kuwana in Ise province”), real name Yamamoto Shinbei (山本新兵衛), he changed his first name later to Shin´emon (新右衛門), third son of the 1st gen. Shinshichirō Hiroshige, he established in the twelfth year of Kan´ei (1635) an own branch of the Shitahara family, he died in the second year of Kanbun (寛文, 1662) at the age of 88 what would calculate Tenshō three (天正, 1575) as his year of birth, chū-saku
