Lindus Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Would appreciate any Japanese members translation of these characters applied to a Showa period Tachi stand. These are applied in I think a white metal. Roy Quote
k morita Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Are you kidding? All your pics are opposite and the other side. Quote
Lindus Posted September 26, 2010 Author Report Posted September 26, 2010 :D My fault of course Thanks as usual Roy Quote
Carlo Giuseppe Tacchini Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Lindus, guess the Swastika fooled you. You posted the pics thinking at the Hindu swastika while this might have been effectively the reversed nazi one as you suggested elsewhere. I'm interested in the whole pic of the flower the Swastika is on. It might be in effect not a Chrisantemum but "The Order of the rising Sun" emblema and the Kikusui on top of the Tachikake is interesting as well. This might be a military related/issued item I've never seen. Would you like to send me a pic here ? tsubame1@tin.it Quote
