I am always a little sceptical about it because of the shallow sori and the weight proportions but at the end it is a good blade. I think this is 古備前正恒 地刃典型 傑作ノ一 刃長弐寸四尺四分二厘有之 昭和乙巳年葉(?)月於久我山房 薫山誌（花押） Ko-Bizen Masatsune, classic/typical Jiba(Jigane and Hamon), one of his masterpieces, Hacho/length at 2 Sun 4 Syaku 4 Fun 2 Rin (70.72cm), 8th(?) month, 1965, at (his) house in Kugayama, recorded by Kunzan (Kao) I'm not sure if the 8th month is correct... 4 Quote

Christian Posted August 17 Author Report Posted August 17 Great, thank you for the fast replies! As the sori is just 0.6cm, could this come from the O-suriage? Or is this a hint that the sword is from a newer age and the sayagaki is not authentic? Quote
