dkirkpatrick Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 Good evening guys, was just wondering if anyone could give me a sense of what this inscription on this stone Jizo figure says. I’ve had it for many years bit could never really make out what it said. I think I can see something about Meiji but the kanji are just too faint for me to work out individually and was hoping someone could speak to roughly what it says, thank you in advance. Doug Quote
Nobody Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 I am unsure about the second line. It might be an address? 祈願武運長久 – Pray for continued luck in the fortunes of war □□□□□□□ 谷口幸雄 – Taniguchi Yukio 二十二才 – 22 year old 4 Quote
