Thank you sir. Also, how do you get this kind of photo? It seems good for a bit more of a surgical type of analysis of the steel.

Takes a while to get the light source angle right, but that's the key.

The nakago looks pristine based on the sliver shown above. Nice pickup. Was it purchased in Japan or the US?
