When Necessary Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago Steve, A friendly word of advice. The seller who removed the Yasukunito "once he found out what he had" may well have found out by watching this site and seeing your post. Either that or another visitor to the NMB may have used your photo, done an image search (very easy), found the sword and then made the seller an offer. That is what you risk every time you rush on here to post a new find before doing any research on it yourself first. You could well be shooting yourself in the foot by not hitting the books first. 3 Quote

Dereks Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago 2 hours ago, Swords said: I find it interesting that Derek’s can’t tell the difference between a Gendaitō or Koto sword lol As I already said a lot of my questions were about signatures which even experienced people have difficulty with But I admit I posted many questions about swords I’m guilty as charged ! I will limited my questions and try to help others Brian I didn’t get the yasukuni The seller removed it after he found out what he had Anyway peace ☮️ and kindness our country needs it! Steve Did I even mention the period of the sword in any of my comments? You’re the one who wrote “WW2 ERA Japanese KATANA” in the subject — not me! 1 1 Quote

When you post anything you don't already own here, you're not just showing it to friends who want to help you - but also to rivals who want to beat you to it. Quote
