I collect Nihonto but also

Japanese ceramics

I recently added this Kyoto ware mid to late 20th century water jar to my collection…but I’m failing on the inscription on the box..jarandbox.thumb.jpeg.50b7d706d997545c153897e2365529e9.jpegboxsignature.thumb.jpeg.3e3be1ee6121a7916b433bffd31396ad.jpegCERAMICBOX1.jpeg.f23a4672d79fb8894ef202e58d7663ee.jpegstampunderjar.thumb.jpeg.1a2d60b0b35eeec248af6cf78c299898.jpeg

Sowa could be this....?

  • Sowa Era (c. 1990):
A period in the late 20th century associated with Japanese Imari celadon ceramics. The word "Sowa" itself does not refer to a single potter but indicates a particular style or period of pottery production.
