Translation needed please

I collect Nihonto but also

have a passion for

Japanese ceramics 

I recently added this Kyoto ware mid to late 20th century water jar to my collection…but I’m failing on the inscription on the box..

Id appreciate any help on this…

I'll go first to get the easy bit  - the large characters on the right read "Mizusashi": 水指

So, the box does not seem to belong to the mizusashi.

I have,…as it came with it the stamp you’ve identified is at the bottom of the jar..Sowa

The red stamp on the box is that a signature as well?

I think this is in the style of....as I think this is mid to late 20th century piece..not Heian period....

The mei and the stamp on the box are Shogetsu (祥月). 

Though I know nothing about ceramics, is the mizusashi really Madarakaratsu?

Yes the Mizusashi is Madara Karatsu (Spotted Karatsu style)
