Does anyone have any information on this fittings maker? I put his full kanji name above. I believe he worked c. 1850 but I know nothing else about him.

 

Any information gladly welcomed....

I can find no artist that uses these kanji 菊地序定 Kikuchi Tsugusada. There is an Hayashi Fujiwara Tsugusada 林藤原継定. I thought maybe the kanji had been turned around and it may be Sadatsugu. Still no artist using those kanji. John

That explains it, I read it as Tsugu. In Haynes it mentions him as a student of Kikuchi Tsunekatsu, as Koichi san said, as well as the first son of Tsunetomo. Kinzo Tsunesada 金蔵常定, Edo Kanda ju, died c. 1800-25, Kikuchi 菊地 Fujii 藤井 originally Shibuya 澁谷 John
