for sale is a signed and dated katana "katatae uchi" single handed katana is excellant conditon handachi mounts.

signed BISHU OSAFUNE KIYOMITSU and dated 1528.

 

its well mounted in iron handachi mounts and finished in shakudo boars eye's and set with gilt iron rain dragon menuki maybe "ezo style" 

 

the everythings nice and tight and the ishime saya finish is undamaged 

 

the ubu blade has a very active hamon with sunagushi,  muneyuki,  abundant utsuri.  there is hada ware and 1 irritating fingerprint stain.

 

tsuba looks like akasaka but i seppa is mismatched
