Hi, could you tell me something about this kura please besides the mon. For the old the state is almost ideal. Knowing the price of modern work of urushi items the price has to be much higher.

No sign, no date, no makers marks…

Maybe an attempt to revive a damaged piece?!
Old urushi coatings tending to crack and flake over time, depending on storage conditions…

I agree with Uwe, the Kura appears to be period, but the restoration is modern. It was likely restored so that it could be used, and the price likely reflects that.
