Markdd Posted July 16 Report Posted July 16 Hi. Seen this in a local antique store fine fittings blade looked as if it was once nice but has been heavily cleaned slight damage to one side of tip is it worth saving Quote
Robert S Posted July 16 Report Posted July 16 Sandpaper, and still pitting beyond the sanding. I have a sword like that, which is being restored. Based on the photos, this one doesn't look so tired that it can't be recovered, but like Chandler says, it would require a photo of the entire sword to have more idea of whether it is genuine, and how much life is left if genuine. PNSSHOGUN Posted July 17 Report Posted July 17 Nothing much to be seen, need photos of the Nakago and Sugata to get an idea of the whole thing. Quote
