cisco-san Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Hallo, I tried a new attempt to translate a mei. But I think I am again wrong. I read 忠 Tada 守 Mori?? But I can´t find a modern (Showa) sword smith with the name Tadamori, therefore I think my translation of the second Kanji is wrong. Please be so kind and help me again. Quote
cisco-san Posted November 17, 2009 Author Report Posted November 17, 2009 Tadayuki (忠行) 行 Yuki is just one row above the 守 Mori on the Kanji page - but I didn´t see it. Maybe because the left vertical stroke is very small Many thanks Quote
Rinsan Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Hi, I agree Tadayuki. You can also cross check using Clive Sinclair's kanji pages on the British Token Society site in the article section. Keith Quote
drbvac Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 Yuki - its hard when the strokes get twisted or bunched up for sure but as you can see there is no vertical stroke on the right to close the rectangle above the verticals Quote
