ROKUJURO Posted March 8, 2024 Report Posted March 8, 2024 It is only a photo, so take my opinion lightly. To me it has nothing to do with patina or restoration. It looks as if some gold was rubbed off, which could be a normal trace of use and wear in that spot. 1 Quote

Mark S. Posted March 9, 2024 Report Posted March 9, 2024 As the holes were filled and unusable, it was probably fitted with fulled rounded/oval seppa. Rubbing possibly by the seppa that didn’t have the crescent cut out? 1 Quote
