Blade 1 of 2 from auction

Hello this is one of two blades I recently purchased at an auction. I was hoping to get some of y’all’s opinions on it. 
 

Despite my best attempts I was unable to get a good photo of the hamon, but I will include what I have.

 

The hamon appears to be Choji-midare (my best guess).

 

The blade appears flat without shinogi.

 

Koshirae is in rough shape but is decorated with the Kamon of the Toyatomi clan.

 

 

Please forgive me as I haven’t studied nihonto in a while and forgot many of the Japanese terms.

 

Sori length- 16.5 inches

Tip to Mune- machi- 12.5”

As I said in your previous post this is a very Soshu looking blade (irrespective of the mei). If this isn't a kodai Hiromi, then it still may be along the same lines of Sue-Soshu / Shimada.

Would this be worth polishing and going through Shinsa?

Definitely, I wouid start there to see if it passes as kodai (later generation) Hiromitsu, and if it does not pass you can decide whether to remove the mei and resubmit or leave as is
