Hello again, In my previous post I mentioned I've been offered a Japanese collection that included a few swords. My area was always german blades so very uniformed of what to look for in fakes, parts pieces, fantasy pieces etc. Here are a two more of the swords. The first one I think might be a fake due to the large arsenal marks and post war hanger....the second one I really have no idea what it is!

Hi Larry, welcome!

 

This is a good place to post your question. Better photos would help with both, but I can already say that the first one is a fake. Or reproduction.

 

We need better photos of the other sword, especially with the handle off showing the tang.

Real or fake who can judge with that kind of pictures?

The "vordic track pro classic skier training" is genuine and sharp visible on that picture. 

The tassel is 100% fake i bet. :)
