Hello to all, I looked everywhere but after some setbacks I prefer to ask on the forum and I would like to know where I can find seppa of good quality for wakizashi?
In addition, there are several thicknesses.

Thanks in advance.

Try contacting Namikawa Heibei:

https://www.namikawa-ltd.com/product/235

They don't sell them on the website, but you can order them. Presumably they custom make them to the customer's specifications. There is only the gold colour for the high quality ones.

If you want really top quality and have the money, say for a shibuichi pair, you can get a professional tosogu to make them. For instance, Marcus Chambers:

There are probably others, but I'm not aware of them!

@Stephen I can understand why it's been a bit of a hassle in Europe for some time now with customs, I had a wakizashi sent back to Japan without going through customs, good for bad who knows, the future will tell. But yes, it's quite complicated.  I'll look at the links and get back to you.

Thank you very much for the links @Larason2 I'll take a look and find out.

I also saw the video it's superb but I can't find a brass plate nearby and when I find it on the internet the shipping costs are double the plate. I asked a friend if he had any in his work, he found me a gilded bronze plate but thick like 6 seppa, I tried to reduce it but it's hard as anything and I'm afraid that the result is horrible in the end.

I haven't dug them out yet but I did check postage it's like $42.

I also have a couple plates of copper one real large one and one enough for two.

I think you said wak size.

The bottom two left.... I can measure them we'll find out what you need exactly.

I want $20 a pair. the top two don't match but the bottom right does.  they all have a machined edge for lack of  better word I don't want to call it.

Id tossed in the copper plate for free. Always fun to make your own and see where I made one out of it the big plate is too heavy we don't want to mess with that.
