Marius Posted May 25, 2023 Report Posted May 25, 2023 I know, Ōnin tsuba are usually associated wih ten-zogan (inlay made of brass points). But there is also another category of these tsuba, where the inlay is more ornate. This is such a tsuba. In contrast to Heianjo tsuba Ōninzogan inlays are not flat. Measurements 8.2 x 7.9 x 0.4cm at rim, 0.2cm at seppa dai. mid to late Muromachi period The last pictures are from Torigoye's Tsyba Kanshoki and show Ōninzogan guards. I can get you more examples from Tsuba Shusei. Because a part of the inlay is missing on the omote, this tsuba is only: $400 (€373) incl. shipping to US and EU 5 Quote
